This was my first time staying at this property and it will definitely be the ONLY and LAST time. The rooms at this hotel are dated. There's old wicker furniture as decor in the rooms. I had to force myself to eat all my food or waste money by throwing food away because there was no refrigerator in my room to store my leftovers to take for lunch the next day. Secondly, the mosquito problem at this hotel is unbelievable. My room had dead mosquitoes on the floor and was swarming with live ones. My first night I killed about 6 mosquitoes in my room. Not too mention I was grossed out to see the amount of dead mosquitoes smashed against the walls, headboard, door and the ac unit. My second night coming to my room there were more mosquitoes than the first night. The front desk provided me with mosquito spray which helped but didn't do much because I woke up the next morning to 5 mosquito bites on my face. Not to mention after spraying the baby roaches that came out added fuel to the fire. My toilet was not bolted to the ground. I was so frustrated with the mosquito issue that I requested for no one to enter my room while I was not there. It was a stay from hell. I travel to St. Thomas once a month for work and for this to be my first stay at this hotel it was disappointing. I might as well have slept in my rental and use the bathroom at my office to wash up daily. I hope that the owners of this property do an overhaul and make some serious upgrades to the rooms. It's really needed.
