The property is up in the mountains and the view from the deck is fantastic. Because it’s in the mountains, a car is necessary and should be, IMHO, all-wheel drive or 4x4, I’m a Jeep guy so that’s what we rented. You don’t need it for off roading however if the roads are wet, you will spin tires on some of the steep sharp turns on the island and maybe on the driveway to the main road. It’s steep. Forget Google maps for directions, it lead us wrong a couple of times, Apple Maps was accurate.
The property listing was spot on. While it has 2 bedrooms, it would be a little tight for 4 but for two of us, it was fine. Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms a good size. The bathroom is big with a huge shower. Everything worked and the place was clean. Kitchenette had what we needed to mainly make breakfast as we spent our days exploring. The deck, the view, the stars a perfect place to chill.
Communication with the owner was excellent. He was quick to respond to our questions gave us good information and recommendations on where to get things like groceries. As for the island, so much to do. I think our favorite beach was Little Megan’s Beach. Megan’s Beach was packed so we made our way to Little Megan’s and there was only one other couple on the beach.
