Lovely area but the inn itself is tired. The linens need to be replaced. The walls are very thin, I coukd hear someone's phone in the neighboring room.
Beautiful location, comfortable and clean room, very nice continental breakfast. Had the feel of a B&B. Didn’t have an elevator but that was no issue to me (I don’t remember seeing anything about that when I reserved the room but it could be an issue for some).
The man at the front desk was rude and very unhelpful. We would have booked another night had he not said if we didn’t during the day they’d probably get booked. Unfortunately had to exit after 1 night
This was a very scenic drive up to the property but pretty much everything else was disappointing. Our bathroom sink leaked water on the ground all night. Staff seemed pretty annoyed when I would ask questions. The complimentary grab and go breakfast was great and the best part. Would not stay here again sorry to say.
Property was beautiful. Rooms a bit dated. Visited in the winter when we were not able to take advantage of the waterfront. There was a restaurant on site which we did not patronize. Other dining options require several miles drive. Bathroom was large. Room faced restaurant exhaust fans. Thought this was the cause of the loud buzz all evening until it shut down and then realized the mini fridge in the closet was to blame. Took quite a bit of time to get the room to a comfortable temperature due in part to the old style thermostat. We left before breakfast was served.
