I really liked the front desk staff at this location. They were very polite, cheerful, and competent, even though they were stretched thin and super busy. The cost to stay three nights was sooo much less than staying hear Disney, so I don’t want to be too hard on the hotel, but the rooms were small, the beds were small, there were no fridges or microwaves in the rooms, and the shower was this teeny little thing that didn’t have a lot of water pressure.
The parking lot was a little suspect, and my wife and I were concerned about our car making it through the night without being broken into. We didn’t end up having any issues along that lines, but we both personally witnessed a couple of suspicious transactions taking place (an exchange of goods for money, if you know what I mean) that had us slightly concerned.
Our room faced down into a busy street, and we heard every single car that traveled that street.
But again, we were in a budget and trying to save money for other things, and getting a hotel room for three nights at the cost we did, it was hard to complain. The rooms were very Spartan, no couches or extra chairs to sit on. The TV was pretty small and the remote didn’t work. We had to wait an extra day to get extra towels because the front desk didn’t have any spares.
But this Motel 6 is located 5 miles from Disney, right down Katella Drive, so it was super convenient and saved us over 600 dollars for three nights.
