This was a good, clean hotel room, not too far off the highway, at a very reasonable price. But some of the furniture in the room looked like it had been damaged by some previous guest. Had to be careful not to knock the luggage stand over, as it had a loose leg. Fridge did not have freezer compartment.

We stay there on our way back to Massachusetts and the hotel was off the highway. We didn't expect much. It room was on the first floor beneath stairs going up. The breakfast was limited and the staff kept eyes on all of us and put stuff away and turn off the light at exactly 10 am. The coffee ran out and the juice had only the water. It's a beautiful property and It's too bad that the service was not good. I didn't expect much and we only stayed for one night on the way home.

Dirty ripped curtains, no coffee available in lobby and clerk ignored my request. Lampshades, wall switches all stained, sticky. Second bed had hair in the sheets and the bottom sheet was wrinkled and loose as if used. Roach ran when I turned on the bathroom light. Checked in at 8pm ish after driving through horrible thunder and lightening and was exhausted so couldn't leave/move. I have pictures because it was so disgusting but I cant get them to loadhere below). I was traveling alone and very upset. I wont use Hotels.com again (after many years) if this is an example of economical offerings.

Don’t do it - gross hotel.
Booked a non smoking room. When we arrived I was told there were no non smoking rooms available. The clerk showed us three rooms and one smelled worse than the next. We chose the least smoked smelling one and checked in. The room was gross! There were cigarette burns in everything! There was a hole in the shade so we didn’t have full privacy from outside. The toilet didn’t flush…..it was gross! I called the front desk three times and got no answer. I could not wait to leave. When we checked out, we told the woman our concerns and she couldn’t have cared less. Please don’t waste your money!

There’s no much else around, but for a one night stop over, it exceeded our expectations at a very reasonable price. The beds seemed new and were very comfortable. Check in was smooth & easy. There’s no elevator, and breakfast was sparse, but we would definitely stay here again.

They need pest control. Several family embers and I stayed in a few rooms and they ALL had roaches! Although we visit Staunton often we will never sat at a Days Inn nor recommend it to our family or friends. The staff and their service at the desk was fine, but the room was not fully clean (dusty, not vaccumed and smelled musty) and the roaches inside the rooms was disgusting.

I had to pay an early check-in. Light fixtures were hanging off the ceiling. Water damage everywhere. I was looking to enjoying at least one amenity, the playground, but it had literally fallen apart and a major safety hazard. The hotel is overpriced, not near anything charming in Staunton, and probably violating many building codes. The staff were super kind.

The amenities where great, beds where comfortable and clean. bathroom great hot shower. the only issues were the laminate floor had damaged spots, the AC control panel was lose and hard to operate, ceiling had a yellow spot.

We were traveling with our dog, so we were grateful that this option was offered. The room was basic and neat and tidy, but there were several things that were of concern. The floor in the bathroom was cracked and jagged right as you stepped out of the shower. The bathroom sink paws being held together with a construction clamp. One of the few outlets in the room was not even attached to the wall. It was a four part receptacle and it was literally dangling by the wire. I felt it was a huge fire hazard so we were unable to use it. Lastly, the outside areas of the hotel were very sketchy. There was a pile of old mattresses (prob 50-60 of them) in the back of the hotel that were very ugly. I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

The room that I had was nice, it looked as though it had been recently renovated. The breakfast was very limited, but was ok for me as a single traveller, I would have been disappointed if I had been travelling with my family. The area around the building was dirt covered with storage containers and old mattresses. My main complaint is that I was placed in an area with long term residents. Between the dogs barking, drug use and a probation officer pulling up to check on a resident, I felt it was a little sketchy. In closing -The staff was nice and the room was nice. The breakfast was adequate.
