Super hotel in a very walkable area with restaurants and transit connections close by! The staff were super friendly and hospitable, and there was an open air market right outside on Sunday which was awesome!

Everything was wonderful. The location, room, food, comfort, ambience but above all the staff were amazing. Not just your standard check in but they went out of their way to all ask a question, offer tourist advice and just be very friendly. This is a no-brainer in staying here again.

We stayed at Hotel Rival twice, either side of a weeklong hiking holiday. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because they were willing to hold our city break luggage between stays. They also accommodated an early check-in when we returned from hiking and were desperate for a shower! The front desk were very personable and remembered us when we returned. The location was walking distance to a number of restaurants we wanted to try as well as the nearest metro stop. The buffet breakfast was varied and high quality. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, great staff. Not central but a nice area with easy access to the T - and not a long walk into central Stockholm. I have had more comfortable beds and better sleep, despite utilising the pillow menu. Breakfast 8/10. Minibar not replenished during my stay and coffee and tea station in public area not tea/coffee in rooms. All minor things - would definitely stay again.

Our rooms faced away from the street, which was wonderful because they were very quiet! When we shared that the comforter was too heavy/hot, the staff replaced it with a lighter-weight comforter. The front desk staff was always friendly & helpful whenever we walked through the lobby. Plus, before our arrival, I'd emailed with various questions, & someone always responded promptly. The highlight, though, was their EXCELLENT BREAKFAST! There were a multitude of options, along with several items that could be ordered from a menu. That was a wonderful start to every day!

This was an absolutely wonderful hotel experience- the best one of our six week tour through Scandinavia. The hotel design and spaces are super cool. The street and park directly across are their own local destination. The staff is amazing and provide awesome advice, history, tips. The breakfast is the nicest we’ve experienced on our trip. The food and team at dinner are great too. This is what a boutique hotel experience is supposed to be.

We greatly appreciate the staff's excellent customer service. Hotel's location is excellent and very convenient to everything. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The room is clean and has everything we needed. The adjacent restaurant has great food. Should we decide to come back to Stockholm in the future, we would not hesitate staying at Hotel Rival again.
