Enjoyable 4 night stay. Great location for sightseeing and transport. Helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast was sometimes very busy but great variety of food. Comfy beds. If not careful, shower can flood bathroom floor as there is space between shower door and floor tile. Would be difficult for tall people as shower head needs to be positioned lower. Great stay!

Great location, beside metro station, across the road from Central train station, walkable to all the main tourist spots. Also a lot of eating options including grocery stores.

The hotel was good. However, there are multiple issues which need to be pointed out 1. The Bed - The bed is by no means a queen bed or double bed. The room had 2 single beds placed side by side, and both the bed and the blanket would often slip creating a distance between the beds. Sleep comfort was extremely low, and definitely not value for money 2. Wadrobe - The room does not have a wadrobe. The clothes are hung on hangers inside the room, presently a view most uncouth for a visitor 3. A/C adjusting facilities are not self explantory. Neither does the room have digitial indicators for temperature control. 4. Room size is small, and not what a hotel claiming to be a 4 star property should have. Furthermore, there are unwanted structures in the form of pillars in front of the window, the presence of which makes the view (otherwise excellent) restricted and the movement not without peril. Certainly not VALUE for money

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the bed linen upon moving in. It was clear that the sheets had not been washed or changed, as they had a noticeable, unpleasant odor. This lack of basic hygiene is unacceptable and greatly impacted my stay.

Excellent modern hotel in perfect area close to the old town. Superb breakfast. Great feature is that they hand out bikes and helmets for free, first come first served though so get down early before breakfast and hire a bike.

There was no coffee facilities in the room. We had to pay for the same in the lobby.There was no basic needs in the bathroom eg. showercaps. We requested a wake up call which was not carried out. Breakfast was sumptuous and well done. Location was great and museums were within a good walking distance.

I’ve traveled all over the world. This was the most amazing breakfast buffet ever. I’d go back just for that. Room was extremely clean. Loved the heated bathroom floor. 💕

This hotel is still another keeper for travelers coming to Stockholm. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly; the room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfasts were varied, with items for everyone. The location was crucial, across the street from the central train station and within walking distance of the Old Town plus other tourist venues. One could easily walk to a large grocery store, a pharmacy; central city metro stop was literally around the corner. One point to make for travelers: when booking a room, be sure to check under “Amenities” and see if there is a fridge in the room. To sum up, Scandic Continental Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in!

The Scandic is the perfect launching point for exploring Stockholm! You can Walk or take public transportation very easily from here. We loved being right across the street from Central Station In walking into Gamla Stan. Our room was downgraded for some reason the night we arrived, but they made up for it with a free dinner and a fruit plate to our room. Very helpful and kind staff and breakfast was top-notch!

The hotel is pretty. Great location. Rooms were clean. The only CONS was that some people at the reception were not kind at all. (Or maybe the girl at the reception was having a bad day, which is fair). Hopefully, there was a guy who helped us with our request.
