The Rocky At Stones Throw Away by Tiny Away
Summary:
Uncover a fresh approach to cozy living at The Rocky at Stones Throw Away by Tiny Away in Stoneleigh. Perched across 40 acres by a flowing creek, this location is an active hobby farm to support a growing desire for therapy animals. The animals are raised to interact with humans for feeding and association on the land. Grab the opportunity to be up close with hand reared calves, cows, a horse, chickens and guinea fowls. This tiny house QLD escape provides an interactive farm experience far from the ordinary.
The Space:
The Rocky at Stones Throw Away by Tiny Away is located just 35 minutes from the city of Toowoomba at Pittsworth/ Stoneleigh town. Surrounded by a diverse agriculture and farming community this location offers a one-of-a-kind countryside experience.
It's conveniently close to the Gore Highway and has attractions like Cecil Plains, Queens Park, Laurel Bank Park, Darling Downs Zoo, and the Bunya Mountains short drives away. This is a central point for exploring the area's natural and cultural highlights.
A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations featuring split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities focus on providing you an opportunity to assist in maintaining an eco-friendly and sustainable footprint while you stay on the land.
We can provide you with Breakfast basket to cook in your tiny house or bring your own food as it is fully self contained with all you will require to enjoy cooking. Alternatively there are restaurants, take away and grocery shops in the main street precinct of Pittsworth. The water on the land is fresh and drinking ready from an artisan underground bore. Bottled water is provided and additional can be purchased.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny house and surrounding property areas. We welcome you to freely explore the land and interact with the animals as you wish. Our land is partitioned for rotational grazing and agricultural activities aimed at regeneration. We encourage you to capture this unique experience with your camera and to leave only footprints behind.
We provide breakfast baskets available at $20 per person, with local produce and farm fresh eggs from the chickens. These baskets will require you to cook for yourself in your tiny cabins.
For special occasions, we can provide bespoke picnics, charcuterie boards, wine, beer, champagne, fruit and local produce to make your occasion extra special. These will be tailored specifically for your dietary needs and guests. This can be arranged directly with the property before your stay.
The Neighborhood:
The Rocky at Stones Throw Away by Tiny Away is just 35 minutes from Toowoomba and grounded by the town of Stoneleigh. Toowoomba, often bustling with a urban vibe, uniquely balances modern growth with deep historical roots. Known as the Garden City, it’s a nod to its lush public gardens and its culinary attractions, fed by local produce.
