The Best Western was not a great value for the price. The room was clean and bathroom and bedding updated. The room had a stale musty smell and furniture was old and needed an updated. Linens and beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and they had healthy options and ample seating. Property was in a good location. My only problems were the price and the smell. Once we ran the air conditioning the smell was better. For 400 a night we expected a more deluxe hotel.

We like the location and cleanliness of the property. The thing that we didn't like was a $25.00 up charge for checking in early. Even though I am have Best Western membership, we were told that I had to be a higher level than what I currently am.

The hotel was up on a hill over looking downtown Waterbury. Readily accessible to Waterbury and Stowe for great shopping and dining. The staff at the hotel are top notch and personable. Best part was a truly comfortable bed!

Comfortable stay
Pros: Room was a good size, well kept and the beds were comfortable. The shower was nice and powerful. Wifi was good. There is an indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The staff are helpful and friendly (and have some personality - they aren't too "corporate"), especially the man who helped us operate the washing machine. Breakfast buffet was pretty good - I enjoyed the waffles. Plenty of parking. Cons: The location is slightly outside Waterbury, so you have to drive to the restaurants. We thought we could walk it in 20 minutes, but we hadn't realised there is a four lane highway that you have to cross and there isn't a pedestrian crossing, so we changed our minds and got in the car instead!
