Great place to stay in old Strasbourg
Excellent location in old Strasbourg. Nice new apartment and facilities. Multiple great restaurants within walking distance. Attentive host. Expensive parking options, $44 per 24 hours, but within walking distance.

Had a great stay. It’s in the perfect spot. I was in walking distance of the cathedral, petite France and literally 100’s of restaurants. Only complaint: not enough pillows and the ones they had were tiny.

Great stay. Only drawback was that the room is not as per the pictures - the only window in the entire apartment was the front door which you had to keep the blinds down so that nobody could see in (ground floor). It felt a little like being in the dungeon. Despite this the room was fully equipped, clean and warm.

Great location
Great location, spotless and spacious apartment. Communication was good and check-in was easy. It should be noted that there are no elevators on the property to get to the rooms. The only negative aspect was the noise coming from the rue de l'ail at night; the weather was nice and the restaurants' outdoor terraces (right under our bedroom window) were packed with patrons until early hours of the morning.

Wonderful time. The room was convenient and clean but the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Walk up for my wife was a bit tough but this was easily gotten used to. Catherine was very pleasant and helpful upon check in. Overall a very good experience.

Nice space but unbearably noisy
Catherine was wonderful n commicating and arranging to be there when I arrived. Property is safe, clean, spatious, and convenient to everything in town. The huge problem was noise. On Friday night someone in the narrow passageway had a party that lasted until 4a. The sound reverberates in that space, so I had to close windows and put in earplugs. The next night was worse, with noise from the bar next door. Even closed windows and earplugs didn’t help, and screaming and fighting at 3a really capped it. Nice space but I lost way too much valuable sleep.

Pro - Convenient location in Petite France Con - No AC. Apt accommodations on hotels.com lists AC as an amenity (click on any room type picture). There is even a booklet on operating instructions for a split unit ... apparently planned but never installed. 35 degrees celsius plus 90 % humidity in Alsace necessitates AC. A ceiling fan and a very small portable fan just didn't cut the mustard. Windows needed to be left open to have a fresh air, but allowed street noise from adjacent cafe/restaurants to drift in until 2 AM. Ceiling fan just ends up giving you sinus congestion. Big disappointment for a long stay when considering the price paid I could have stayed elsewhere with AC. Not recommended for a summer stay...probably a good fit in other seasons. Bed is only 160 cms when I was expecting 180 cms...again, too cramped for 2 when it is 35 degrees and no AC.

The apartment was located centrally and was secure and clean. We had a duplex apartment and the only negative was the fact that the bathroom was downstairs, which was a pain at night time, other than that all ok.

Perfekte Lage, tolles Apartment
Das Apartment ist modern,sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist genug Platz, da man sowohl einen Esstisch,als auch eine Couch im Wohnzimmer hat.Das eigentliche Schlafzimmer ist über Treppen im Obergeschoss. Wir haben das Bett unten ebenfalls verwendet-so könnten bequem 3 Personen dort wohnen. Die Lage ist ideal- in einem Viertel mit vielen Lokalen, der Dom ca 10min zu Fuß und die Straßenbahn ca 5min. Von dort zum Bahnhof nur 3 Stationen. Am Abend hört man die Besucher der Restaurants, wenn man die Fenster schließt, dann ist das aber kein Problem . Zu erwähnen ist vielleicht noch, dass auch zum Apartment seeehr viele und teilweise steile Stiegen führen. Das ist mit älteren Menschen oder Kleinkinder zu bedenken.
