The restaurant is underperforming
The hotel is isolated, so to have dinner the Restaurang is very important for the guests. This one serves very few dishes and on a low standard. One example, cold smoked salmon with unpeeled potatoes with a cold, readymade sauce.

Beautiful property and friendly/helpful staff. The one thing I would mark down on is the fact that we were not able to turn the heat up in our room. In an effort to assist the staff gave us an extra blanket for the bed but that did not help unless we were in bed and we were in the room without being in bed quite a bit.

Hotel is right on a lake. It’s so quaint and clean. Our room was such a pleasant surprise — there were two connected rooms. One with a king bed, the other with bunkbeds (& toys for kids) — with a hallway vanity and bathroom in between, and it’s own exterior exit (which was great for our two small boys). It’s absolutely charming! Breakfast was good. My boys (7 & 4) LOVED having their own space, and so did mom and dad. This place is terrific!! We will stay here again.
