The faucet was moving around as I tried to wash my hands. The AC had visible broken parts, was making a lot of noise without effectively venting cold air.
The refrigerator was making a lot of noises. I tried to see if I can adjust the leg (by turning them to see if it would level on the ground) but no such luck. It was just shaking. Between the noise levels of the AC and the refrigerator I was not able to sleep. Next day I asked for a different room for I was going to be there for another 4 nights!
The Hindu accent speaking girl at the reception strait out said no before I even finished speaking! I asked to speak with her manager which apparently she was listening in on the conversation stepped right up and said she has no other room available! The only one she has is one without a refrigerator on the 3rd floor! (No elevators in this place) I told her refrigerator is advertised on their own website as part of the “standard items” that is included in their rooms! She said “No”.
So I said if you can’t provide me a quite room with the standard equipment on the east side of their building (where the sun is not hitting the room directly and making it too hot to sleep in), on the lower floor (I am disabled and asked to be on the ground floor) then I said refund me my entire booking (for I was not informed the room would be hot and noisy that will keep me up all night) and I will leave! She told me to go within 1/2 hours then she will fully refund me! Which they didn’t!
Where do I begin. When I checked in, the front desk was not so friendly. I was given a room Only to find out I was downgraded , I payed extra for a refrigerator and a microwave. The room didn’t have one. I took it. The following day I went to the front desk to ask for the right booked room I payed for. I was given a different room with refrigerator, microwave and cockroaches 😡 I declined the new room and stayed in the room Given at first. It wasn’t until the third day I came to the room and found a refrigerator and a microwave. They didn’t want to refund me for the extra cost and the microwave was filthy. Didn’t even use it. I will not come back to this place again.
First of all its in a not so good neighborhood. When we arrived there were room with broken windows, broken doors, lots of garbage, etc. We checked in, room was dirty, the shower was COVERED with what looked like crusty soap and lots of hairs. Absolutely disgusting. We left out to eat at about 10pm and back at midnight. Couldn't sleep at ALL. They keep every single light on everywhere and rooms stay very bright even with the curtains fully closed. We had other tenants that would walk by and try to look into the room the whole night. Didnt get any sleep at all and left super early, didnt feel safe. Would not stay here again. Wish i could get my money back, it was horrible
