Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Sounds like a small thing but it made the stay that much more enjoyable. Otherwise you can't go wrong, it's on Hasting Street with a pool and direct beach access. Fronts onto the natural park so quieter than other similar options

It's on the beach however the beach view is extremally limited by mature trees which the property does mention. booking on wotif i'm pretty sure i didn't see the multi story building has no lift, no laundry facilities in your unit and no television in the bedroom. very old building a friend mentioned staying there 30 years ago. no oven. pool area is lovely as are the managers.

Sandcastles is perfectly located down the lovely quiet end of Hastings Street. Amazing location for beach access. Pool and amenities are just what you need for a holiday. There is a bit of noise from the street with bars and restaurants and garbage trucks but this is to be expected for the location. It is not too bad unless you want to go to sleep really early. My toddlers slept through it.

Excellent family stay
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment at the back of resort over looking the park. It was wonderfully set up well to cook meals and relax. It was quiet enough at night down the bottom of Hastings street but wonderful to have direct access to restaurants, shopping and the beach. We hired beach towels for $4/each and used the free washer and dryer on-site. The management team were friendly and easily available to help with our queries.
