The outdoor patio area is a Gem, but Badly in need of Repair or Replacement. It's a Great gathering spot for the end of the day but it's downside is deck boards and railings that are warped, showing both splinters and exposed nails. There is seating for about 15-20 so it is large enough but in poor shape. It's also inexcusable in 2024, that every room doesn't have both a mini fridge and microwave. You have to upgrade to a Bayview room to get those......Really? Don't get me wrong, we will return there again and again because between the Casino next door, shopping and dining options down the street in Suttons Bay and Leeland, there is a Huge draw.

Nice quiet hotel in woods next to casino. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Carpet and general areas could use some upgrating but overall nice room for the price

The lodge is small, but there is shuttle available anytime down to the casino. We loved how quiet it was, and how low key it was.

Very nice staff and very clean . The whole Hotel needs a face lift and updating. I would select this hotel every time if the interior and exterior were updated and had mini-fridges available for guests.

The shower was amazing. Usually with hotel stays you get the water saver feature ( translate lousy water pressure!) Wow felt like a firm massage. Front desk clerk personable and friendly. The grounds are pretty and low key atmosphere. We would stay here again!

What I liked: The location is nice, you're on the peninsula, the room was clean, the bed was firm (I liked it my wife did not). What I didn't like: OMG put some new carpet in the hallways already! Disgusting! $225.00 and no frig or microwave, no breakfast, no place nearby (that we could get into) that sells breakfast.

Probably wouldnt book again
The place was very dated. One trash can didnt even have a bag in it. We only booked because of the option of a casino on lodge property.. which we found out has no table games nor bingo Monday-Wednesday. Of course we booked for a Tuesday. So the inflated room rate due to the casino on property option was not worth it in my opinion. Staff were all VERY Friendly!

Check in staff was rude. Carpets worn and dirty. Outdoor rec area was in disarray. Bedding was old. Still using bedspreads that likely are not launched are each use. Don’t stay here.
