Very nice hotel for a reasonable price. We were able to check in early after a LONG overnight flight. And also able to check out late before boarding our cruise ship. The hotel itself could use a little renovating ( furniture, carpet, etc). Staff was great. Overall a good stay and we would return.

Losing its cachet

Silo Bar barman less than highly efficient or swift. Bar snack of pretzels stale. Croft meal excellent. Room tired but clean. Ignorant noisy neighbour playing music very loudly at midnight but a call to management resolved reasonably quickly.

Lovely hotel

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was big, comfortable, clean. Location was perfect - not far from Circular Quay or George Street. Have been travelling for a few weeks now and this was one of our favourite hotels

Amora Brisbane

Front office kept calling our room for verification and other issues - at least 6 times during our stay. They even entered our room when we were out and had a do not disturb sign up. Apparently some continuing mixup re our room, when we continued after the end of a globus group visit. We'd booked a higher price room, but opted to stay in the globus provided room sowe didnt have to move. Front desk told us this was ok and they'd refund the difference. The latter never happened and apparently wires were crossed between employees at front desk, thus all the calls. TV never worked well. That never got corrected but we werent there to watch tv so we didnt make a thing about it. We had very early flight last day and were told they'd give an allowance as we didnt have time for breakfast, but that never happened. Nice hotel in a great part of town, but was not enjoyable. We were there 5 days and not even a gratis bottle of water???
