This property is great for the Solo traveler it has a system that requires you to use your card to access your room and only people who have a card can enter. Location to grocery stores and restaurants was just a few feet away! Easy access to Trains and Buses! Room was very modern and clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful providing me with a map and took the time to help me with my luggage.

Fantastic Place

Fantastic hotel couldnt ask for anymore . We arrived early due to flight which was no problem at all allowing us to check in two hours early at no extra cost. We then got a free upgrade and the room was Fantastic with amazing views over Sydney . Room was very modern and comfortable. Staff all amazing . Deffinately recommend to anyone staying in this part of Sydney.

I have been using the Meriton at Bondi Junction since it was established, and have generally been quite satisfied. On the weekend of 14/15 Feb this year, I shared a 3-bedroom suite with my daughter and granddaughter. About 8pm we realised that the TV was tuned to the Chinese (I think) language and we were not able to change it. Both my daughter and granddaughter work in IT, so it was not just the silly old lady who was incompetant. We rang for assistance and waited half an hour before ringing again. Someone came and got the TV to English. Then we weren't able to access Netflix but settled for free to air. At 11.10pm, when I was the only one still up, there was a knock at the door - it was a man to check on the TV!!! The next morning before my daughter and granddaughter went our my daughter told me that the drain in the bath wasn't working properly. I told reception and they said someone would come. Someone did come about 2.30pm and said she had obviously trodden on the plug. I couldn't dispute that because I did not know. She hadn't. The next morning the bath and the basin were not draining properly. By that stage I was beyond caring because we were checking out. On the whole, our experience at the Meridian Bondi Junction this time was pretty disappointing.

Our room was a little bit dusty , i think some work had been done prior to our arrival. it was a lovely large suite, equipped with everything including washing machine, views were fantastic.

We liked and appreciated the apartment setup of the hotel. The convenience of the location is great. The only weak link is the front desk. A couple of the staff were professional. Genevieve and Charmin are wonderful. But some of the other staff members would deeply benefit from further training.

We stayed at this property for 10 days last year and came back and stayed here for another 10 days this year. The location is perfect. There's a transit center in the building and it's easy to get anywhere in Sydney on public transit.

Best for family trip!

We’ve been staying at Meriton for over 5 times and we always live in Meriton every year when we come over to sydney for our annual family gathering. They have renovated the lobby and lift upgraded this year and service has improved. Room stays the same but it would be better if they could change to those soap dispenser sets instead of still using those small disposable amenities such as shampoo body wash laundry liquid etc, that would be more environmental. Else everything is perfect for a family trip. Location next to Westfield which is so convenient for food and shopping . I would highly recommended.
