Pros: Friendly staff Large room Comfortable bed HOT shower Internet that actually worked Only a 10 minute walk from Sydney Central Railway Station Cons: I’d asked for an accessible bathroom, or at least a shower chair, both when booking through Expedia, and then as a separate email directly to the property. I would have at expected to be notified about the lack of this facility BEFORE I ARRIVED Apart from having no shower chair for safety, there was nothing to hang onto …. There was a frameless shower screen, and the towel rails were 3 steps away from the shower. Because of this unsafe arrangement, I shall not stay at this motel again. In future bookings through Expedia, I would ask that if my request for a simple shower chair cannot be provided, would I at least be notified? Thanks

Amazing Bed!

The room was a little tired and could do with a make over. Many of the light bulbs weren't working and curtains were missing from one of the windows, but it was clean, the shower was great and the bed was amazing, one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in.

Close to all the action.

Just a few minutes walk to Central Station and plenty of places to wine, dine and explore nearby. The bedding was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet, and the reception we received from Joseph was warm and welcoming. If our travels ever take us to Sydney City again we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

The concierge was very friendly and helpful. Going out of his way to make you welcome. Unfortunately, they had had issues with hot water that day, and it didn’t seem to be fixed for the night I was there. It was clean, but showing a few signs of age

Close to Central station and interstate bus coach terminal. It’s centrally located to other tourist attractions as well. Room is basic but clean and comfortable. Receptionist was lovely and check in/check out was a breeze.

Our stay was short with late check in and early departure - our room had an illuminated exit sign shining through thin curtains so poor sleep- easily fixed with a blockout curtain. Central location.

Staff are great and nice, they let us keep our baggage before and after check in. Location is great due to central station being right there. Lots of restaurants are walking distance. The major con of this hotel is the smell … my husband and I had to run from the elevator to our room plugging our noise from how awful it smells. They try to mask it in the elevators and main area but wow did it ever smell bad. The previous reviews were not kidding about the smell. Our floor too had a whole wet area on the carpet that kept growing each day, really hoping it wasn’t mold but due to the smell something funky is happening with this hotel. For a short stay it’s fine but any longer stay definitely chose a different hotel.
