Great stay in excellent location
Great location and excellent views of the harbour. Comfortable and excellent transport links, the tram into central is right below the hotel. There is also plenty to explore in Darling Harbour, or get a ferry from Pyrmont Bay to Circular Quay. Only a word of warning, there is currently the Harbourside shopping centre that is being developed in front of the hotel, due to be completed in 2025, when this is complete, the views of the harbour will be lost!

Externally getting a little dated but I can't fault the hotel inside, staff, facilities and restaurant. Such a lovely place to stay and easily walkable to the city and Sydney attractions.

We took the airport train to Central, then a tram for a few stops. We had to walk 3 blocks, uphill, which was hard with our suitcases. We arrived in time for happy hour, which indeed made me happy. The pizza and a glass of wine were a hit for this traveler. The room was very comfortable. There was a small refrigerator. This was the only hotel on our Australia trip where the clothes line over the tub actually worked. There was a clock radio on the tiny bedside table that had 2 USB ports, but they didn’t work very well. The room isn’t meant for someone working. There is no desk, just a small table with no nearby plug. Overall, a shortage of adequate outlets. There is a beautiful view of the harbor from the restaurant and bars. There are many outside restaurants a short walk over a bridge, You can also catch a ferry to many of the other wharfs along Sydney Harbor. Breakfast was included in our rate, and it was a very substantial buffet. Something for all cultures.

Spent two nights here. Room was very quiet, clean, self- temperature controlled and the bed super comfortable. Had buffet brekkie both mornings - lots of food to choose from but sliced fruit dry and not fresh tasting. Staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us, especially Concierge Eddie. Didn’t get time for the pool but it looked like a good spot to unwind. Easy to get to transport, shopping and bustling strip of beautiful restaurants along Darling Harbour. Would highly recommend.
