The place is an absolute hole - it hasn't been redone in years. It's old, the elevators are clunky, the paint is old, the bathrooms are clunky, the a/c makes a ton of noise. There's constant construction which keeps you up all night (literally till 2am) - which should have been highlighted when we booked. There was a leak in the bathroom that was so bad it leaked through the wall into the bedroom!

Lovely front desk staff. Accommodated our request for early check in. I had higher expectations from the pictures but in reality the hotel is quite dated looking on the inside, the room was quite small especially for the price, and bathroom facilities had no bath and vanity had no drawers or cabinets. The hotel also does not provide a breakfast option. Has a motel feel overall. I still haven’t been refunded my $100 bond. If you want a no frills affordable stay in Sydney CBD this will do.

So convenient for transport on light rail, buses and the metro. Also within walkable distance to shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff, very polite and accommodating. Thank you Park Regis for a great few days in the city.
