Fun start to our Sydney vacation.
So much fun! Woke up to a koala hanging out in the tree in front of our room each am. Great guest-only zoo night tour. Super Breakfast buffet. Traveled with 2 20 yo kids. They loved it too.

Unique hotel experience in the heart of Sydney!
A beautiful use of Sydney harbor and within the zoo. Koala’s right outside your room balcony. Can’t beat this hotel!! No downtown hotel compares. I would recommend it to anyone who plans a trip to Sydney.

Amazing amazing amazing. Staff were faultless. Room is clean, luxurious but simple. To wake each morning with a koala sitting in a tree right in front of you. We slept with the curtains & large sliding window & just savoured the moments. Restaurant Breakfast & dinner was superb

Awesome experience sleeping surrounded by Aussie wildlife. Staff could not be more helpful. Sanctuary and nocturnal walks a must! Dining overlooking Sydney Harbour was magnificent. Highly recommend.

The Wildlife Retreat at Taronga Zoo is in a stunning location, but our stay had some drawbacks. The room was smaller than expected, and we found small spiders, which detracted from the overall comfort. Despite booking an animal-view room, we only managed to spot one koala during our stay. While the idea of staying near wildlife is appealing, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations.

Service here was incredible and the rooms with sliding doors that open right up to your animal neighbours was awesome. Me-Gal was also an excellent spot for dinner.

The room was amazing. View of the Kangaroos outside the my sliding door/window. Gorgeous view of the city from the lobby balcony. All the zoo perks. Nature everywhere. Highly recommend. You can take the ferry from the zoo into circular quay by the Opera House (12 min) ride.
