This place needs to hire a cleaning staff. All the carpets (hallways and rooms) were very dirty, it was obvious no one had vacuumed in days. The bathroom had a tube with shower head that was rusted and had a sticky pad cover the bottom to hid more rust. The elevator jerk to a stop and made loud banging sounds. Someone's truck alarm kept going off from 2am until after 3am (even though we contacted the front desk). It may be a less expensive place than others on Tampa, but in the future I'll pay for a place that actually cares about their facility!

Paid $195.00 for a Suite with a King bed. We got a regular room with 2 beds that where really uncomfortable and toilet was clogged the TV did not work We understand we just had a major storm a week ago , But don’t over charge room was worth $50.00 at the most

Hubby and I and our pups stayed 2 nights during Hurricane Milton and I must say that the professionalism of the front desk staff during the check in process was excellent...they stayed calm and professional during the hectic time checking in each guest with a comforting smile. The rooms were clean and adequate for what we needed it to be I would definitely stay again and would recommend

We evacuated here during Hurricane Helene. The situation for the hotel staff and management was difficult to say the least, and they were very kind, polite, and accommodating to everybody. This is an older La Quinta, but it is clean. It’s a great location if you’re seeing a concert across the street or attending events at the state fairgrounds. You can literally walk right across across the street to both. No, this isn’t a super luxury hotel, but the way they handled adversity was amazing. After we checked in, we watched as hotel management brought in giant generators on flatbed trailers just in case this little La Quinta lost power, we would all be comfortable. We ended up not needing it, but it was wonderful to know that they were going to take care of everybody. I would highly recommend if you ever had the need, and make sure you shake some staff hands. They work really hard.

This place was disgusting. A chunk of my bathroom door was missing, and the room was nasty. It was already dirty when I entered, and no one came to clean daily.
