Outdated hotel with very nice people.
We went to Pensilvania to have fun in Camelbeach and not to spend $1000 for only hotel.We know that hotel is outdated but service was nice and good ,parking free, room in the second floor(so we use steps instead of elevator),very comfortable beds,fridge in room,clean towels.Hotel needs renovation and I hope one day it will happen.It is great location and beautiful view from balcony.We had fun time with kids .Deers came next to our balcony and our daughter was so happy to see them.

This hotel was just weird. I suspect it was recently bought, or that they're closing for good. The property was completely unmarked, meaning you pull into a decrepit parking lot and there is zero signage. No name whatsoever, indicating that it's the hotel. Inside, there are signs everywhere saying "this doesn't work" or "sorry under construction" and the while place is just falling apart. I booked this for my family as an en route stop between New York State and Philly, mainly because it has a pool. When we got to the pool, there was a sign saying the pool was closed for maintenance. We ignored it and went anyway. The waterfall was broken, but the pool was very clean, very good temperature. Not sure why it was closed. My husband used the gym and said most of the machines didn't work. One elevator was out. The room was... Fine? Beds very comfortable, fine pillows (though just two pillows per queen bed). I asked for a late check out so my kids could enjoy the pool a little longer, and was begrudgingly granted an extra 30 minutes, and at exactly 30 minutes, as I was gathering all the luggage and the children, they called the room to tell us we had to leave. Judging by the number of cars in the parking lot, it had to have been at less than 10% capacity, so I could not fathom the rush. Also, everything in this property (paint, tile, etc) looked like it had been worked on by visually impaired contractors.

This place is in poor condition. The lobby looks like it has been recently renovated. But the condition of the rooms is what you will find in a run down rink dink motel. The view from the property is the only thing great about this place. I would not stay here again nor do I recommend it.

It had a moldy smell and was not a pleasant experience at all. The property manager should make a note on their website that they are remodeling so I wouldnt waste my time/money!

Nice quiet stay , outside looked nice inside needed updating . Room was very old for the money not worth it . But the staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good but expensive. Nice place but for half the price .

Rooms smell bad, elevator was down , only the 4th floor ice machine worked, the furniture on my balcony were broken ao we couldnt enjoy that, staff is dismissive of all these issues. This is my 4th year coming here and its always something.

The restaurant wasnt open consistently. The elevators didnt work. The were doing construction in sttairwell were you needed to go down to pool and gym. It made it very unreachable. Not impressed they charged 2$ for snack sized snacks

The only good thing about this property is the staff who are very, very nice and try, and the location is great. However, the property looks like it was once lovely but is in desperate need of renovations which they are currently starting to do however, we were not aware that they were going to be doing this, and the front area was dusty and filthy. The rooms are totally outdated, the pool was filthy. The rugs were filthy and our door to the outdoors was broken.

The staff were wonderful! The dining room was nice. The cleanliness of the rest of the whole facility was in quite poor condition. Mold in the bathrooms. The smell of old cigarette smoke in the rooms was terrible. The kurig looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months, maybe years. Bed sheets had stains and floor was hardly swept. The dining food was excellent and the service was great. Still probably wouldn't go back again.

I was quite disappointed. We checked in on Saturday and the elevator didn't work until we got back from dinner Monday evening. We were on the 4th floor! My husband has medical issues and we really struggled. Breakfast was an automatic 20% tip which is absurd. We had 2 dirty towels in our room when we got there. We tried calling for room service and the phone didn't work, so down and up 4 flights we had to go! The loft was decent but would have preferred a balcony. The couch was hard as a rock so no comfortable sitting to relax before bed. The best part was out back on the deck, romantic and a beautiful view from a few spots. I probably wouldn't return here unless they comped me for this experience. They couldn't even offer another room because "the suites are on floor 4".

Visit the property at least once a year. Property has family friendly atmosphere, and is very clean. The view of the mountains is absolutely beautiful. Front desk is there to assist with answering any questions, or resolving any issues
