The place is amazing, but they have lots of ducks. The only problem is that they are really messy and they need someone or somebody or a special crew to be in charge and clean all the walks so people can enjoy more of the beautiful place they have.

It’s a hidden treasure but away from the main attractions of Tequila. No transportation is also a downfall. Having to get an Uber or taxi was very difficult.

The property was in need of outdoor cleaning. There was a terrible smell on the property from thousands of mangos on the floor and ducks galore everywhere. The showers amd sink were covered to keep bugs out but we weren't warned so the water overflowed and the ftontdesk leaves at 10pm to help. The road the leads to the hotel is TERRIBLE its a dirt road with a lot of pot holes not good if you are in a small rental car. The Barrica itself was amazing and the tour was wonderful. Great drinks and food.

I did not have a good experience in this place personally I think It’s overrated because of the barrel Concept Hotel in the middle of agave fields but in all truth the cleanliness of this place is not the greatest, I found hair stuck on the shower walls, bad smell coming out of the bathroom shower drain and sink, long hair on my bed and dirty floors . I'm actually very disappointed with that place, I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends

The staff were very helpful. The stay was not pleasant. The room (barrel made of cement) had horrible ventilation and the ac unit took a full day to make the room bearable. It was a hot box. The location is not ideal. They do have two restaurants on premises. The food was ok. The pool was dirty. Although it was extremely hot, no one was in the pool. I overheard someone saying the pool water “clear as mud”. Definitely not worth the nearly $400 USD a night.

Concept and place is nice, a bit rough in road to get there (lots of rocks) AC was not working properly and it was hot. Also, it could be cleaned up a bit since they have a lot of ducks roaming around.
