"Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt eine sehr gute Unterkunft, die Stadt selbst ist nur eine Anreihung von Häusern, nicht mal einen Laden gibt es in der Gegend. Der Strand ( für Hunde) war sauber und weitläufig. Die zweihoteleigenen Restaurants können den Abend schön ergänzen, wir waren aber in einem Pavillon an der Küste, weil da etwas günstiger ist. Zu empfehlen ist das Bikemieten, auch das Marinemuseum in Den Helder ist sehenswert."
