The only thing weird is that reception closes. I had texted the hotel to say we’d be getting in very late and we got there around midnight. We phoned a number on the door for assistance and finally got a response with friendly service but for a while we were afraid of having to sleep in our car. The sign for assistance mentions to phone if problems with card but it should maybe specify for late check in too, just to reassure late arrivées that they are going to get assistance.
