A one bedroom one bathroom studio flat with doorstep skiing. The accomodation comprises a living and sleeping area (combined) for up to four people.

There is a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, sink, electric hob and all utensils and includes a fondue and raclette set.
The dining table seats four. The bathroom includes a bath, shower attachment, sink and toilet.

The flat has double glazed doors opening onto its own balcony with stunning views of the D'ent Doche mountain and the Bernex ski area. There is a sledge which children are welcome to use. There is storage space for clothes as well as additional storage under the beds. The flat includes access to its own ski locker and has its own allocated parking space.

There is a TV and DVD player. TV reception is limited so we recommend you bring a selection of DVDs for your holiday- or you can just admire the view from the balcony!

As well as doorstep skiing , the flat is a minutes walk from the French Ski School, ski hire shops, bars and restaurants. Bernex is particularly popular with families and offers a wealth of activities including alpine and cross country skiing and snowboarding, ice skating, 'snow-shoeing', hiking, dog sledging, climbing and paragliding.

In the summer the ski area transforms into a mountain bike park serviced by the chairlift. MTB hire is available one minute from the flat. Evian and lake Geneva are a short fifteen minute drive away and Geneva is about an hours drive.

With a car it is also only half an hour drive to Chatel where you can access the extensive ski areas of the 'Porte du Soleil' - Morzine and Avoriaz. White water rafting, swimming and fishing are also easy to access in the summer.

We do not provide bed linen, sheets duvets or towels / tea towels and we ask that you bring your own.

We also thank you in advance for cleaning the flat and removing rubbish to the nearby depository when you depart.

L'appartement demanderait un bon coup de rafraîchissement. La literie du "canapé lit" à changer . Les oreillers ,les draps et couettes à changer car tachés et vraiment limite pour de la location . Un grille pain serait a prevoir. Place de parking non numérotée. L'interrupteur alimentant une prise d'éclairage alimente le micro-onde pas vraiment aux normes .. Tout ceci revus ,l'appartement est idéalement placé,au pied du télésiège dans un immeuble calme

Très bon séjour !
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l'appartement de Nick à Bernex. Même si le service ménage/linge n'est plus inclus, le logement reste d'un bon rapport qualité prix. Il est très bien situé, bien équipé, et Nick est très réactif et très serviable. Il fait tout ce qu'il peut pour que notre séjour se passe bien.

Fausse description des services proposés (ménage, linge de lit ...)
Le studio est bien placé, dans un bel environnement boisé. Il est fonctionnel avec le nombre de lits correspondant à l'annonce. Par contre je regrette qu'après avoir payé Abritel on m'annonce que les services annoncés ne sont plus proposés et que seul un remboursement peut être envisagé (la veille du départ au soir , donc trop tard pour chercher autre chose). Emportez vos coussins (ceux sur place sont très sales de même que les alèses). La propreté du studio est approximative et le matériel bancal (table, robinetterie de baignoire, étendoir). Le système de clé par boitier sécurisé est par contre très pratique car arrivée et départ autonome.

Appartement très sales! Le linge de lit! Bonjour le COVID!
Arrivée compliquée! Parking introuvable! Balcon plein de terre! La cafetière très sale! Ns avons du acheter des alezes et des oreillers tout jaune! Housse de couette déchirée et l odeur! La télé ne marche pas! Le propriétaire est joignable mais il ne réagit pas! Il vs propose un remboursement qu'il n'a jamais effectué! Location a fuir!

Studio agréable et bien placé
Le studio est bien équipé et parfaitement localisé, à deux minutes du télésiège et de tous les magasins de location. De belles balades aux alentours également. La Keybox est très pratique pour l’arrivée et le départ. Seul bémol, nous n’avons jamais trouvé la place de parking attitrée au studio, cela n’a pas été dérangeant car nous avions toujours de la place en bas du studio.

Petit studio avec vue montagne, a 50m de l`ESF, telesiege, Sport 2000 et autres loueurs de materiel. Prevoir vos courses avant de monter a Bernex car la superette a fermee et pas de Pharmacie. Bus depuis Evian, Thonon en semaine uniquement d`apres nos recherches. Quelques restaurants a Bernex: 2 en altitude dont Les Marmottes qui est super. 1 Resto devant Telesiege et un autre en face de l`Office du Tourisme ouvert a midi et certains soirs. On etait sans voiture, c`est faisable mais pas ideal. La TV capte quelques chaines mais pas de son, la 4G Bouygues fonctionne. On a apprecie les draps et serviettes fournies et la reactivite de Nick et son service de conciergerie. Merci.

SUPER !!!!
Appartement très bien situé avec remonté mécanique à coté, déjà loué en 2018 il était évident pour nous d'y retourner, rien à redire sur le contact avec le propriétaire il répond très bien aux messages, le principe de mettre les clés dans une "safe key" est en effet très appréciable........le seul regret c'est que c'est passé trop vite !!!!

Small studio in a beautiful area
The apartment is located in a beautiful area, with mountains and the lake nearby. It’s walking distance to the ski slope (in winter) and mountainbike/hiking trails (in summer). We spent a week here during summer and had a nice time. As for the apartment: when we checked in the apartment was not cleaned, Nick however quickly resolved the problem by sending the concierge. Though we wouldn’t say it’s professionally cleaned as the prescription says, this was not the case as the apartment was cluttered, the cabinet was full of expired products and the shower curtain was dirty. For this price we would probably not stay here again. But all in all, we had a very nice week because of the beautiful location and Nick was very polite and helpful.

Appartement propre et fonctionnel ( réfrigérateur un peu petit ) Avons apprécié la fourniture des draps et linge de toilette. Merci pour la petite attention ( bonbons et vin ) Impossible de capter les chaînes télévisées . Avons été étonnés : pas d'état des lieux à notre arrivée ni à notre départ . Comme convenu dans le mail de Mr Taylor , avons contacté Mr et Mme Betts 1h avant notre arrivée et nous avons trouvé ,sur leurs indications , la clé sous le tapis .Le jour de notre départ nous les avons informés que nous laissions la clé sous le tapis. Séjour très ressourçant et magnifique région

Appartement propre, ergonomique et bien équipé (vaisselles, service à raclette, micro ondes etc...fourni) situé dans un beau petit village. Propriétaire très sympa qui répond rapidement aux mails, A REFAIRE sans hésitation. Apartment clean, ergonomic and well equipped (dishes, raclette service, micro wave etc... included) situaded in the beautiful town.
