Room was clean but not comfortable because we could not control the temperature. Unit was very noisy and we couldn’t shut it off. Kept us awake most of the night. The dog owner brought their barking dog to the breakfast room so we had to put up with an annoying barking dog.

Clean and comfortable room. Property is nice. Check in was a bit cumbersome - seemed like it needed a “technology” upgrade as clerk had to locate paper reservation. Price was competitive with nearby and comparable properties. Was never le to connect with hotel WiFi; used hot spot technology through my phone, but would have preferred hi speed access.

One of my worst hotel experiences
I arrived at the hotel and told the front desk I had a reservation. He replied "no you don't" before he even looked. I said, "actually I do, and I have the email confirmation here." He fiddled around on the computer for a second and then said "oh, well we ran your card before you got here and it didn't clear." That was definitely not the case. He argued with me some more about it before he went back to the computer and said well, the room is still available so he took about 30 minutes and said he got everything straightened back out. Room was fine, nothing special. The next day I noticed i was charged 3 times. Hotels.com customer service called them and they told CS it was an authorization charge and it would be gone within 7 days. I've never had an authorization charge show up in multiple transactions. Overall displeased with this stay.

Our stay was great! The staff were very accommodating. Only thing needed was a place outside for non smokers to sit & enjoy outdoors. I am sure pool was closed & furniture put up b/c of the hurricane coming in, but still 2 areas outside at each side of entrance for smokers. Would have been nice nice to have one side for non smokers. I tried to sit there, but the smell was too strong. This was our 2nd there & will stay there again when in south ga. Also, reasonably priced.

Property and stay was enjoyable. Staff was helpful and the area around gives everything you need. 4 start because of a rather disappointing breakfast as the cooked food hardly looked edible so it was cereal, fruit, juice, and packaged muffins.

While I thought it was pretty clean - the ottoman/stool too was shredded. I told night and morning staff about it and they said they had it written down. We didn’t want them to think we did it. I probably would not stay there again.
