This property location is ideal for traveling to and from NRT airport and around the JR Yamanote Line. Walking distance to Ueno Ameyokocho shopping area, Ueno Park, convenient stores all over the place, very clean and fast elevator as well. 2nd stay at this hotel. Recommended for the solo or duo travelers.

Location was great. We had a view of the lotus pond and a 2 minute walk to Ueno park. Room was tiny and smelled like cigarettes. We just stayed for the night as it was across the street from the Keisei station for the airport. Wouldn't stay there any longer than needed.

The corridors, elevator and reception area were not clean. Our non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke. The bedroom looked much bigger in the photos but it was very very small. The bathroom and bedroom were not cleaned properly.

This place was awesome! It’s literally 10 steps away from the pond exit gate from the Keisei ueno station. Super duper convenient. And then ueno park is on the other side. Close to everything walking distance in the ueno area. Room was tiny but it’s Japan, the standard is different. Was clean, quiet and comfy. I wouldn’t mind staying here for two weeks. I only stayed for one day, so maybe my stay is a bit biased based on that? Take it with a grain of salt. But for the short term Highly recommend.

Nice staff and decent breakfast also accommodating kitchen staff, great distance from shop and transportation. The only cons is the cleanliness and outdated room wall paper and carpet. Smells awful because of the molds in the ceiling for the 2 rooms that we’ve transferred.

In need of affordable quick stay near train station; APA is great for that. We were rushing last minute to find a place after escaping airBnB that had too much cockroaches. Room is a little small but average size for Japan.
