A nice new hotel in Kabukicho area Shinjuku. The room has a nice layout. Small luggage can fit under the bed. Enough space to put bigger luggage near the door. The bathroom is clean and has a bathtub area adjacent with a shower in the side. Ten minute commute to shinjuku station and 5 minutes away to Oedo line station. Staff were nice and helpful.

Our stay at HOTEL AMANEK Shinjuku-Kabukicho was pleasant. Cannot say enough great things about the staff and how accommodating they were throughout our stay. The rooms were cozy but expected that prior to arriving. Would choose the queen over the japanese king for more room. The shower head was awesome. Rooms clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Definitely would recommend this hotel and plan on staying there again.

The room is small but that's to be expected in Tokyo. The toilet is quite spacious though and you get a small fridge which is handy to have. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the location is fantastic. Recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel for one week. The room was larger than I expected it to be and was perfect for two people. The location was convenient for exploring all of Tokyo, also there is lots of nightlife near by. If you are thinking about booking this hotel don’t hesitate.

Rooms too small, pillows terrible, no storage space for luggage. No storage for equipment on site / skis etc Breakfast - ran out of food constantly. Staff not replenishing in a timely manner / slack. Even ran out of cutlery. Would never stay there again. Much better options for what this cost available. Disappointed.

We had a king room but didn’t realise it was a matress on the floor. The room is as i expected for japan was small but due to everything being at floor level the small room just seem magnified. The rest of my family had twin room which while small were much more manageable. The property is new which was nice. Breakfast was basic but sufficient.

Small room

The room is clean but the room size is very small. You cannot even open 1 luggage comfortably (the luggage will literally occupy all the available floor space). No cabinet for your clothes, they just provided a hanging rod with limited clothese hanger. There's fee to request for extra clothes hanger. The toilet is clean with bathtub. They only provide room cleaning once every 3 days.

A very convenient and enjoyable stay. The property is well located, clean and the staff are super friendly. My only let down with the apartment was a very firm mattress and pillows that were quite firm and no option for soft pillows. This is however a personal preference. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and come here again in the future.

This is our second time here because we loved our stay so much the first time but this time we were not impressed. We were put on the 3rd floor right next to the elevator with aview of a wall. I was hoping they would see that we are returning customers and give us a room with at least a window with light. It was very noisy all the time especially late at night. Needless to say, we will be staying elsewhere next time. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean. Rooms are tiny but that is expected. Hopefully you don't get the rooms with windows facing the wall since you will get no light at all.

Nice rooms/not ideal location

The location is in the middle of Shinjuku, but be aware the hotel is located in the red light district. There are love hotels, maid bars, and lots of sketchy people. It is also very dirty nearby. Overall inside the room was nice, more spacious than other Tokyo hotels, and a nice bathroom/shower.
