Overall it was very nice! It met our needs, e.g., quiet location, proximity to train station, cleanliness, welcoming staff, etc.,
The minor improvement / consideration items:
1) plumbing / sewage odor - there was a very slight odor in the bathroom when the door was first opened. It dissipates, then when the door is closed it accumulates again but it didn’t make its way into the sleeping area so I didn’t make an issue of it with the front desk.
2) location - since I’m familiar with Tokyo getting to / from / around the hotel may be inconvenient for those who aren’t familiar with the train system. For the cost of the stay, there are other very good Tokyo hotels which are better for commuting. It’s a trade off of what you want, e.g., commuting convenience or quiet.
3) amenities - very eco friendly but for the cost of the stay, the quality of some of some of the products can be improved, e.g., the razor, etc.,
