We are a family of four and enjoyed having our own separate beds. We also liked that room cleaning was every three days rather than everyday. They provide clean towels daily and empty out your trash. They provided three breakfast options ( a Japanese meal, and two western options) which I found delicious but they are the same each day. We stayed at the hotel for 7 days and by the end of our stay, we got a little bored with the breakfast options. They were delicious nonetheless. The showers were amazing! Superb water pressure and had both overhead shower head and hand options. In terms of vicinity, it’s close to the train and metro stations but with small kids, it might be better to find something closer if you travel by foot. There is a convenience store (Family Mart) just around the corner so if you need anything, you can get it there. The laundry machines were nice to have but the driers do take a long time to dry especially if you have jeans or thick hoodies. All in all, it was a great place and I’m glad we chose it for our trip.

amazing hotel
Wonderful, quiet location just a 10 minute walk from electric city so you get the noise and lights but also peace and quiet when you would like rest. This place also offers 24 hours coffee and the pajamas are amazing

I loved my stay at the Tourist Hotel & Cafe. From the time I arrived, the reception from the staff was great and they made me and my friend feel welcome. Extremely courteous and helpful and they were that way the entire length of our stay. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The hotel was convenient to everything with a Family Mat convenience store located close to the hotel and restaurants in close walking distance. The Akihabara train station is close within walking distance and arranging taxis and other forms of transportation was easy. House keeping was great. My only wish is that the hotel had Internet. The hotel does have Wifi. I plan to come back to the Tourist Hotel & Cafe on my next visit.

My friends and I had a good stay here, staff was friendly and whenever we had questions they tried their best to accommodate us. the hotel itself was really pretty and the cafe had good food and drink options! but the beds!! the beds were suuuper uncomfortable, in our opinions. After sightseeing and being tired all day I would have loved a comfortable bed! so if you're use to sleeping in more firm beds, you would love this hotel!

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the room was super nice and bright with a lot more space than expected. The only small problem was the aircon - it was occasionally dripping water. I would definitely recommend staying here and would come back again next time I’m in Tokyo
