Like most Japanese business hotels, the room is small but clean. They also provide the usual amenities like facial soap, moisturizers and tooth brushes which guests can help themselves to in the lobby. Unique to the Toyoko Inn chain of hotels is that breakfast is included for all guests. The breakfast is Japanese style, which consist of rice, salad and simple meat and other vegetable dishes. The dining area is in the lobby and it can get quite cramped during breakfast hours, although you may take your food to consume in your room. Check-in and out times for non-members are 1600 and 1000hrs respectively, which is poorer than the usual 1500 and 1100hrs for other hotels. If you're staying only for a day, you might want to consider elsewhere. Overall, a decent hotel but with room for improvement.

Breakfast was always great. We liked our stay and knew what to expect as it was not our first stay at a Toyoko Inn. However, the AC unit had a smell when the air conditioning mode was on, as opposed to the dehumidifier mode, so it seems it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

This is your basic motel accommodation. I would recommend this location, very clean, train station just around the corner, and many food options nearby. The only negitives are that adding an additional night is impossible, not a situation you desire if your flight gets a delay and the only other thing I give a big negitive on is the beds are literally hard as a rock! Coming back from being on your feet the whole day to a bed that is elevated concrete floor just never feels right.

For a budget hotel the Toyoko Inn exceeded my expectations. We booked two single beds which gave us more space in our room. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked well. Breakfast was very good and had variety each morning. The breakfast room is very crowded and warm but you can take it back to your room. The local station was very close ( 2 or 3 minute walk) and only 15 min walk to the main sites of Asakusa.

Great for single stay. Not recommended for children. I had my 1 year with me and the space was a little small. Only one garbage bin and no counter space for diaper change. Breakfast provided was nice but make sure to get there early otherwise line ups can be long around 8-8:30am. Walkable to station and also to Sensoji temple, Tokyo sky tree. There is family mart and 7-11 also near by for convenience
