I was supposed to have a room with a king bed and I got a room with 2 double beds. The TV was not working in the room and it had carpet on the floor. The next morning, I hit the breakfast lounge and the clerk there bring me my bill…28$ for myself. I check on hotels.com and the breakfast was at 15$ for 2 persons. I show that to the clerk there and he says that I had to select that option when I reserved the room.

The shuttle was late and full. The driver promised to be back to the airport but we ended up with a taxi and the shuttle was still at the hotel. We were told the shuttle was first come first serve in the morning, and we were there first, however there ended up being 20 people (12 seats) and no organization. We had to get another Taxi. Just bad organizing on behalf of staff and hotel. This added another 50 $ to our stay!

The pool was great for our daughter, even though it was quite cold, make sure you bring a wetsuit if they are susceptible to the cold.

I arrived just after 11pm at Pearson Terminal 1 and stood out in the cold until 1:30am waiting for a shuttle while all the other hotel shuttles drove around and around, even coming to check on me. The Holliday Inn shuttle passed by 7 times while I was waiting for the shuttle from Four Points Sheraton. We were calling the entire time and being told but the front desk someone was coming and they never arrived. Eventually they sent a front desk person with the driver in a phone with us as we waited. I asked at one point to cancel my room given I was flying out at 6am which left very little time to sleep but because I booked with Expedia they said that was not possible. I tried to get an Uber 3 times but no one would pick up the ride, I am guessing because the distance to the hotel is so close - even walkable if there was a way to walk safely. I was promised Bonvoy Points for the trouble 🙄 but they never followed up on that. I don’t collect Bonvoy Points so it means very little to me. Then in the morning at 4:45am after only a couple of hours of sleep, because I was so late finally getting to my room, there was a huge group of travellers waiting for the shuttle, which is way too small and much smaller than their other hotels shuttles (which I know for sure because I saw them drive loops around me did For 2 hours). I had to fight my way in to get a spot so I wouldn’t miss my flight but about half the group were left behind and who knows if they were able to make their flight

Hôtel is right across from the airport so the noise from planes taking off is almost constant. The ventilation system doesn't help either. Bring your ear plugs if you want to sleep. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable so it's unfortunate that it's so noisy.
