I had a mixed experience. The front desk staff were very nice, polite, and helpful, which I appreciated. However, I can only give the hotel a 3-star rating. The room was fine, especially considering the price, but I had a negative experience shortly after checking in. After 6 pm, I was waiting for the elevator to take me to my floor. An elevator stopped at the lobby level and a staff member with a garbage cart was inside. As the elevator went down to the basement, I had to wait and ended up taking the same elevator where the staff delivered the garbage. The problem was that I noticed dirty water from the garbage cart on the floor, which left a very bad impression on me. Furthermore, when I checked in, the front desk asked how often I needed the room made up—once a day or every two days. Since I was only staying for three days, I opted for every two days. On the second day, I left my room at 9:30 am, hung the clean-up sign on the door, and returned at 6 pm to find my room untouched. That was fine, but I needed a bath towel and found that the phone in my room wasn’t working either.

Great clean rooms, well stocked with toiletries and towels, a/c worked well, easy to navigate the grounds and parking, Food is good, continental breakfast options are ok, if you want hot food(eggs bacon waffles etc) you have to ask to order it, the servers don’t advise you about it. If you’re looking for a mani/pedi or facial there is a salon on the opposite corner called D’s Nails- they were wonderful and had availability for walk ins or you could book online. Hotel Downfall- we stayed on the 3rd floor, you’d think it would be quiet-wrong! Friday nights open mic in the dining room and the festival in the conference room you could hear clearly as if it was in the room next door. Overall nice stay.

My husband and I were traveling by car to explore the Toronto area and found this location to be very convenient. If you are traveling by public transportation, it would not be convenient. We stayed for four days. The room was very clean and well cared for, although a bit small for a king sized bed, there are suites available. The price was very reasonable. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food was very good. All in all, a comfortable stay all around.
