Was a nice huge room with massive bathroom, found a pube in the tub so we never used it just stuck to the shower and the auto buttons for curtains etc. were wonky. Service was amazing but the area around the hotel reeks of urine and i expected more for the money.

Without question, the Shangri-La, is my preferred luxury hotel in the city. Expectations are consistently met and often exceeded. The staff are professionals, who are well-trained and a cut above. Whether solo or with others, this property will suit. Pool area is an oasis, with an awesome, truly welcoming staff. Top marks as always. Thanks team!

My first stay of many more. The room was large and the bathroom with soaking tub was amazing. Staff was super accommodating when notified of my travel delay. Visited during TIFF and love the special menu for the week. The Green Dragon cocktail was amazing.

Overall we had an ok stay, however one main issue we kept following up on daily (after busy days and arriving back late), was never resolved. This was unlike the experience we are normally used to from staying with Shangri-la here and at other Shangri La properties previously. The manager came to speak to us only at the end of the week long stay on checkout and did provide some remittance for the issue, however as this had a major impact on the duration of the stay it didn’t feel like it was quite enough. I would like to point out, that the cleaning staff were very accommodating, even late night.

Overall, the hotel was good. However, when arriving at reception the staff member did not look up to greet us, and we were not sure if they were still working on something else while we were trying to check in, which was confusing. We felt this could have been done in a more welcoming way. The attention that you would normally find at a Shangri La was lacking, on initial check in. Secondly was a request for the room, which we have never had any trouble with requesting before and the hotel does offer it. But, throughout the week long stay we asked multiple times for help, and were offered the same solution. It was frustrating, especially when you are out most of the day and return late. The manager did note this at the end and provided some remittance, however it didn’t resolve the issue during the week-long stay. Which included 2 rooms across the initial days. Slightly disappointing, not what I would have expected staying at a more upmarket location. But I would like to say some of the staff we came into contact with were exceptional and very helpful. The spa and some services were great.

The property is so luxurious starts from the entrance to the rooms and gem with indoor pool , sauna and jacuzzi . Room was so huge with built in standing shower (which was as big as the room)
