We highly recommend Hotel Brandan, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The accommodations and staff were excellent. We really enjoyed the bar/lounge area with Wine Hour as a way to wind down from our busy days.

Beds were extremely comfortable and property is generally quiet - I slept soundly each night. Very clean. Kind staff. Nice sauna. Espresso pods in room. Lack of tissues in bathroom was odd though.

Way too high temperature to sleep
The temperature in the room was extremely hot. So hot that you’re unable to sleep in it. Reception couldn’t do anything about it as it is caused by central heating. The only solution is to open the window, but that means you get noise from the street instead. So you have to live with either very temperature or noise as you try to get some sleep.

We felt it was a very basic hotel. Small rooms, barely had room for our luggage’s. No safe, no tissue box and no phone in the room. The heat was on and we can’t control It from the room so we didn’t know how to open the window and because there was no phone, I had to go down to the reception and someone came up and showed us how to open. The staff was very friendly and tried to help. My husband left his PJ on the bed and they did not fix his side of the bed and when we asked why, we were told that if you leave on the bed, they do not fix the bed, and they didn’t change towels which were on the floor. Location was great, staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast was ok as well.
