The property was easy to reach, and delightful to occupy. Amenities abound, and our five kids had no trouble occupying their time. Walking the property, we explored the length of the creek, discovering an old bridge and lots of animal trails. Fishing at Townsend park is picturesque, thrifting at second chance a treat! Easy access to groceries, coffee and fabulous scones.
The kitchen is so well equipped that we decided to cook every night, even making a rhubarb pie from the garden. Cocktails on the second floor porch were picture-perfect. And s’mores over the fire pit made the evening for kids
If you’ve never tried axe-throwing - here’s your chance. Two adults bulls-eyed after a dozen tries.
The whole thing works though, because our host, Jordan was abundantly available . I’ve come to appreciate that the more I rent for the family- especially in remote locations. We felt entirely cared for.
This is a place to relax, make memories, be healthy, and reflect in utter natural beauty.
