This is a must-stay location when visiting Traverse City. From the moment I checked in, throughout the week, and checking out, I had a wonderful experience with the staff. Also, my room was refreshed during my visit, which is very rare for the various lodging venues on that road. The morning breakfast choices were perfect for someone on the go, no powered eggs. I will be coming back soon! Thank you, staff!

Nothing fancy, just needed a place that was pet friendly. Clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Continental Breakfast was slim pickings, not much to offer but again was exactly what I needed and Off season pricing was great. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very dirty. Found a used q-tip on the night stand, several stains on the bedding and the bathroom was pretty gross. The drain in the shower didn’t work so by the time you were done with your shower the tub was half full of water. With all the other hotel options in the area, we will not be staying at this one again.

i enjoyed my stay at the Days Inn very much. unfortunately the winter weather hit Traverse City pretty hard the weekend i was there but i still enjoyed it. the fella working the afternoon shift on Thanksgiving Day was excellent , there was no ice bucket in my room and he went out of his way to locate one and bring it to my room. the room was nice and comfortable, the bed was great and the shower was hot for sure! i will be staying there my next visit for sure!

The bed was very comfortable! It was nice to have a couch & table too. Whirlpool appeared dirty, but we really think it was just extremely chipped paint. Like bad! We didn't even use the whirlpool because of this. Fireplace was nice, but dusty. Everything was just a little dirty, and paint was chipping everywhere. We were never told of any breakfast or anything of the sort.

Our stay was okay! The hotel is dated, the black out curtain were dirty and aged, the bathroom, the toilet and sink were clean however the bath tub was in poor condition and under the security handle was black like mold! Photo to follow! The bed was clean and comfortable! Moved the chair and found it hadn’t been cleaned/vacuumed in a while! It was the little things that needed attention! When we arrived had to go find the clerk, she was in the laundry room!

The property said online on Hotels.com it was Pet Friendly but nothing about an additional fee for staying with a pet but upon check in we were charged an additional $25.00 for traveling with our 18lbs 14-year old dog who sleeps in a cannel. This would have certainly made me reconsider my hotel option considering the facility was rather dirty and old, not well maintained. Shady characters for example; cops were there when we arrived because someone was trying to book a room with a stolen credit card. Wish we would have not stayed. We were attracted to the property because it was not expensive, I guess, came down for a doctor appointment unexpectedly after surgery due to complications and it was cheap and last minute. With a dog.

This hotel is the definition of you get what you paid for. We initially booked this hotel because it had decent reviews and the pictures made it look nice but it was far from that. Our room looked dirty, we found a wash cloth hanging over the shower curtain rod that wasn’t ours so clearly, from the last guests that stayed in the room. The elevator was sketchy. The staff barely greeted you, if not at all. It’s unfortunate that this hotel is corporately owned yet seems so poorly cared for. We will not consider staying here again.
