Quietly nestled in the countryside between Lake Maggiore (a 15-minute drive) and Lake Lugano (a 10-minute drive), a 4-minute walk from the local winery, this spacious Villa comfortably sleeps six guests. The property enjoys a pretty garden and a sun terrace providing the ideal choice for a peaceful retreat with family and friends.

Guests can enjoy alfresco meals on the terrace, unwind on the balcony or relax in the open-plan living space which is arranged into two areas: a TV room furnished with two comfortable sofas and a flat-screen TV, and a spacious kitchen/diner equipped with; an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a fridge freezer, a dining table and an L-shaped sofa.

Bedroom 1: The spacious ensuite master bedroom is furnished with a double bed and enjoys a private balcony

Bedrooms 2 & 3: The second and third bedrooms are both furnished with single beds, a desk and also enjoy access to the balcony

Bedroom 4: The fourth bedroom is located in the loft room and is furnished with a double

Location   

The property is located in the pretty town of Monteggio in southern Switzerland between Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano. The surrounding landscape is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, with lush forests, vineyards and picturesque countryside with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The Cascate Waterfall is a 15-minute walk (2-minute drive) from the accommodation and Monte Lema is a 30-minute drive where you can take a scenic cable car ride to the summit.

Popular excursions include a trip to the charming city of Lugano and its Old Town with its narrow streets, historic buildings and lively piazzas. From here visitors can take scenic boat rides. The region is also home to several vineyards and wineries where visitors can sample local wines and learn about the winemaking process - the closest one is a 4-minute walk from the accommodation.

There are also several restaurants approximately a 15-minute walk away and a supermarket a 3-minute walk from the accommodation.

The closest international airport to the accommodation is Lugano Airport (LUG), approximately a 20-minute drive away.
