Not the best example of a 4* hotel
Everything was ok but not what you expect for this price range. Lacking the quality you normally associate with 4* hotels. Expensive when you compare it to other similar places in the region.

Amazing hotel. Great location. Clean. Wonderful staff. Truly superb. Gave a bottle of bubbly when they found it was our anniversary and booked us the best table at the nicest restaurant. Hotel bar staff very friendly and pool is clean.

Lovely small hotel overlooking marina, close to beach and restaurants and shops. Extremely high standard of cleanliness. Delicious breakfast. Great pool and never a problem getting a sun lounger.

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff
Charming hotel and staff, all of whom made us incredibly welcome during our eight-day stay. We were very impressed by their awareness of and catering for a gluten-free diet in our party. The hotel is well situated for the beach and local shops. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
This is a nice hotel in a quiet, family friendly small resort.Hotel overlooks the small yacht harbour and then across the sea.It has a lovely pool and small garden and is in a quiet location. The rooms are fairly basic but the balconies at least on the 1st floor are enormous. the only downside is that the hotel has a fantastic terrace, a great bar and a nice room which could be used as a restaurant (as could the terrace) but they are totally underused. The food in the resort is fine but basic ie plenty of pasta and pizza but nothing a bit more sophisticated. Why not use the restaurant/terrace to provide a bit of more up market cuisine.

Don't expect too much
We stayed in the suite with the large balcony with jacuzzi towards the harbor. On the plus side the balcony was very nice and the room was fairly spacious. On the downside the aircon didn't work (it was ca 21 degrees outside, but still ca 23 degrees inside with the aircon set at 18), it was noisy from the restaurant outside and from neighbors, the breakfast was not very nice (fruits from cans, bad coffee and overall not a lot to choose from). All in all, it felt like a "has been 4 star hotel" which now should have 3 stars at the most, and where prices should be cut in half in order to give value for money.

Happy travellers
Staff were excellent here, they really were super helpful. Our bed wasn't that comfortable, maybe could do with upgrading the mattress. The courtyard room was a bit of a miss, ours was 1st floor but you were just below street level so couldn't really see much. The bathroom was lovely and there was a mini balcony so you could dry swimwear which always helps. The pool area is very well kept and the pool is a perfect size.

Lovely hotel but not luxurious.
The hotel was in a fantastic location and the staff were lovely, but the room is very basic - don't think of a four-star hotel in the UK, because it wouldn't compare. The pool is also fine - but not luxurious. We had no real criticism, other than I thought I was booking something a little plusher. It is very close to the town, has great views of the marina from breakfast and lovely people. Great for a family for a few days.

Great location for relaxed holiday
We chose this hotel as a base to explore the area and relax. It has the normal standard of rooms for a mediterranean hotel and larger deluxe rooms if you are prepared to pay a bit more.I recommend the deluxe comfort rooms on the second floor. Lovely pool area and a fantastic terrace and bar overlooking the harbour and bay. The breakfast is fine with the option of eggs cooked any way you want to supplement tea, coffee, pastries, fruits, cheeses, meats etc. The staff are wonderful, they made our stay, especially Guiseppe in the bar. Every night sitting at 5 o clock having post pool/beach drinks on the terrace was amazing. Lovely wine and cocktails with excellent company from other guests. not really a childrens hotel but there are some facilities in there for them. All in all a little gem of a find.

Lovely, friendly hotel. Isola Rossa very quiet...
Really lovely, luxurious hotel with good location in Isola Rossa. Staff were incredibly friendly. Room was really really good - with balcony & hot tub. Huge, spacious rooms. The bar (and friendly bar man) were also excellent. Pool looked great but didn't use it. Not much happening in Isola Rossa though! Love the hotel, but not really anything to write home about the area!

Great location but noisy.
The hotel is very clean and pleasant. The food and service are excellent. The location, overlooking the harbour, could not be bettered. The best coastline I have ever seen...anywhere. The only down side was that the hotel itself was noisy. From guests returning late, to the kitchen being cleared to the late night holidaymakers on the street below.

Excellent 4* hotel, centre of town close to beach
The staff could not do enough for us, very friendly and knowledgable of activities and places to visit. If you book this hotel you must stay in a room with a view of the harbour with a balcony. If I was going to be picky then the only improvement I could suggest would be a slightly more comfortable bed. Would visit again, lovely hotel

Short stay on the beach
Had a bit of an aircon issue, ie wasn't working. But they offered an upgrade to a suite which worked out very nice. Friendly and helpful staff, would recommend it overall if you're looking for a relaxed beach holiday.

Great location by harbour and beaches.
We upgraded to a harbour view with balcony which was definitely a good idea as we had a great view of the harbour and people. There is music quite late playing across the road but we just enjoyed it and had earplugs just in case. Hotel staff were excellent and did that bit extra to ensure we were happy. Although we holidayed at the end of August the hotel didnt feel at all crowded and a lot of the time the pool/garden area only had a few people which was great, ost people stayed on the beaches. We travelled with our children (18 and 12), they were in a back room but joined us for our balcony view every night. There was plenty for them to do as there is a water park just up the road, a beach a couple of kilometres away was really good for body boarding, we also went sailing and hired a small boat. Driving is quite fun as we didnt realise how mountainous the area was so be prepared for plenty of bends. Really enjoyed this holiday.

Fabulous short stay break
We had a wonderful few days at Hotel Corallo. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms and communal areas were clean, the pool area and outside terrace were relaxing even though the pool is at the front of the hotel, and the restaurant food was splendid. The pictures we had seen of the hotel were an accurate depiction of the facilities and location. We had spent a long time researching a facility and area that was wheelchair friendly and we were delighted with Hotel Corallo. We just wanted somewhere quiet to relax for a few days and Hotel Corallo ticked all the boxes. The surrounding area had some nice restaurants and cafes. The walk along the pier or to the beach was just a few minutes away and we saw some lovely sunsets just a stones throw from the hotel itself. We hired a taxi to take us to and from the airport and the driver was very pleasant and helpful. He pointed out that Sardinian roads are not like British roads...true but even though it was a long drive it was worth it! Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcome and relaxed throughout our stay.

Great place for a nice beach holiday
Stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon experience throughout Sardinina. Unknown to us, we chose the busiest day on the Italian calendar for holidays (15 Aug) to come here so the town was nice and lively!! We were warmly welcomed and they explained to us where everything was and what there was to do in the town. Our room had a fantastic view of the marina just across the road and the sea and the sunsets were wonderful from the balcony. The hotel itself is not that big ( 2 floors) which actually makes it very nice since the service was a lot more personal and the staff were very attentative to our needs. Anything we asked for they tried their best to accomodate us. The hotel iteself is spacious and has a nice free flowing and open feeling while walking around. Great swimming pool and to me the food was exceptional. We ate at a lot of places there and they were definately the best in town. Giovana and her team did an exceptional job looking after us and we thank them for that since it made our experience even more special and memorable. A massive thank you to them! Will definately go there again in the future!

Perfect place to relax in Sardinia
Hotel Corallo is located opposite the marina and many rooms have large sunny balconies looking out over the marina. It's a great place to watch all of the boating activity as well as being quite peaceful and an excellent location. Isola Rossa wasn't busy when we visited but there was a great feel to the place, the beaches were excellent, walks fantastic and we took a magical boat trip along the coast. The hotel itself is light, modern, clean and welcoming and the staff were delightful.

As good as it gets
We checked reviews of this hotel before we booked, so our expectations were high. There were some small disappointments. Our room at the rear was below the level of the road, so our view of the tower was limited to its top! Finding a handy power socket was a struggle. When will European hotels wake up to the need to charge mobile phones and the like? The absence of tissues was strange in a hotel of this class. These trivial points illustrate just how hard it is to fault the Corallo. Everything else was excellent. Our room, not large but adequate, was modern and immaculate, with a beautiful full bathroom. The rest of the hotel was the same, including the public rooms and toilets. The staff went out of their way to give impeccable service. The food, limited in choice but changing every night, was delicious. Sardinian prices are high by our standards, but the hotel's were in line with the competition, and we ate in most nights. Dinner on the terrace at sunset was up there with our most memorable holiday experiences. When we discussed a visit to Corsica on the ferry, Giovanna even checked with the ferry office to confirm the sailing time before we set off. If you want a relaxing, romantic holiday for two, you won't find a better place. But ask for an upper floor!
