McCoy is the place to stay.

A buddy and I were in Tucson for a week of cycling. This was the perfect spot to ride from and right up to your door when done. Relax in the pool afterwards and wake up to a great free breakfast and do it all over again. Hotel staff were cool and accommodating, the artsy and inclusive vibe was refreshing compared to a boring hotel chain.

Cute Retro motor lodge

Cute little retro motor lodge. Well maintained but still has a great mid-century vibe. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable

Give it a try

I did like how the hotel is working towards becoming eco-friendly. It truly is a one-of-a-kind experience that was peaceful & comfortable, don’t judge a book by its cover.

I celebrate Bryan Coggins renovating the post modern motel. It is a very cool concept and generally well executed in terms of the room layouts. Allowing dogs is a plus and stocking local food and drink is also a plus. HOWEVER - this hotel is not being maintained. The sheets and pillow cases and towels were stained. The nice front desk person gave us a new room but that too had a gross sticky round stain on the sheet that hair all over it. Gross! The towels were the cheapest you could buy and also stained. I would have dealt with all that cuz I couldn’t have gotten new sheets - but instead I left because the place is SOOOOOOOOO. OVERPRICED to be this dirty and uncared for. Nice idea POOR execution. There are much nicer and less expensive hotels than this in Tucson. Do not waste your money.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights to visit Saguaro National Park and get some warm weather as we were leaving a 3 day foot of snow blizzard behind. We loved the oatmeal and coffee bar in the morning, it’s great hiking food! They had oat and almond milk substitutes and decaf cactus tea as well. The firepit, yard games, and heated pool were a perfect way to wind down each night after spending the day hiking in the desert. The hotel is in a perfect location 20 minutes from the west entrance to Saguaro and 10 minutes from several great dining options in Tucson. If we come back to visit we will absolutely stay here again!

Fun and affordable Tucson experience

Friendly and welcoming staff set the tone for this lively art-inspired reimagined motel. The room was comfortable, excellent night’s sleep. The bathroom was large and had an exceptionally accessible shower with bars and a seat.

This hotel is a very well maintained "retro" property. Although it was next to the Interstate 10 freeway, the sound of the freeway was not evident. The staff was very helpful. The location was perfect for visiting downtown Tucson and for touring Sonora Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park West.

Our family had the best trip and I wish we had planned two nights here at least. The lobby is really fun, the breakfast oatmeal bar was tasty and the pool live music was enjoyable. The service was friendly and helpful! Absolutely loved our stay. All of the rooms are different so I’d love to see another version one day!

The breakfast is horrible! Only carb (oatmeal and bread), no protein and veg at all. No service but endless waiting. The kitchen staff made me feel that I was begging for a slice of bread because I didnot buy their 6.99 burrito.

As two LGBTQ couples who came together for a friends reunion, we could not have been any happier with the safe and welcoming atmosphere at Hotel McCoy. The staff was super friendly - especially those who served beverages at the awesome little bar in the main reception area. Rooms were comfortable, clean and tastefully designed, and we really loved all of the murals and artwork throughout the property. We also appreciated the pool area, complete with live music and a ping pong table! Given all of the hostility our community is receiving by the new administration, it is more important than ever to find safe spaces where we can be ourselves. Thank you Hotel McCoy for providing that environment.
