I called and spoke with the front desk, the day I was supposed to arrive to cancel the reservation and according to their policy I needed to cancel prior to 24 hours of the stay for a full refund, after that I would be penalized the first night rate plus taxes. The supervisor of the Inn refused my cancellation after the front desk told me it should be no problem. I prepaid for the nights and they refuse to even give a partial refund. I will never make another res with Red Roof Inn. There are several other places within the same area to stay in the future. I will make sure no one I know ever uses this hotel either. A hotel that does not care about their customers or future business.

Located excellently, sunrises do not disappoint in the room. There is no continental breakfast that I am aware of, which has becoming increasingly commonplace, of which I am not a fan. Otherwise the beds were decent, not your typical duvet comforter, but comfortable nonetheless. If you’re needing a quick stopover in Tucson, with access to cheap gas just a block over and some decent fast food options to hit the road again, I would recommend staying over here at the Red Roof in Marana.

Room was non-smoking room, as was the whole hotel. But, it still smelled a little like smoke. And there was what looked like a cigarette burn in the decorative throw across the bottom of the bed. I reported this to the staff so I would not be charged for violating the rules. There were no other rooms available.There was also some commotion in the hallway with a guest yelling ad the police needed to be called. The Dish TV system also went out around 9:30 p.m.

One night stay on 4th floor. Very nice clean room. Perfectly comfortable and had one easy chair. Hard surface floors good for pets rather than carpet. Had newer feel and all was in good condition. Window was dirty. Some freeway noise on that side, and a/c unit a bit noisy, but not bad. Also had hall noise and elevator dings, but slept well anyway. Disappointed that no breakfast, but Denny's was a short walk away. I was in a car towing another and found adequate parking room at back. Location a little isolated, but we felt safe. Would stay again.

Don’t bother with this place
When we got there the lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful but that’s where it ends. I went downstairs a couple of hours later to ask for 2 extra pillows. The night desk guy rudely replied “don't you have any in your room?” I said “ yes but we each use 2” and he acted like he was a huge inconvenience to him to get up and check for extra pillows. Then we get up the next morning and there is a scorpion in our room. We kill it and take it downstairs when we check out and the woman said “we never had one in our hotel before. It must have come in one someone’s pants or bag” Never apologized or anything. I stayed at some bad hotels before, but this is the worst and I will not be going back.
