It was clean and quiet. Beds were okay. The lamp beside beds was faulty, the hair dryer was barely working and had a broken plug. Desk legs bowed out. The AC was cold but damp and musty. Staff were really nice. Wasn't a horrible place, just needed some upgrades.

Great value and cozy rooms
Great for the price. I believe it used to be a best Western way back when. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and breakfast isn't hot but there's plenty of options. There is a train and highway nearby but the insular rooms muffle the sound very well. There's an abundance of dining and shopping options within a short distance from the hotel. I recommend this place for a budget friendly no frills, comfortable stay.

Almost everything was great. It has a true handicap walk in shower, not a tub. The bed was low enough to easily transfer into. The pillows were super supportive not feather. The toilet and vanity were handicap accessible. The continental breakfast was good and consisted of a muffin, a yogurt, a fruit, a breakfast bar and orange juice with a small water. The only reasons I didn’t give it a 5 was the carpet needed to be cleaned. My feet were black walking from the bed to the window. I had to use baby wipes to clean them before getting in bed. Also the mattress needed to be replaced. It was lumpy and you could feel some springs, not very comfortable.

Called in advance before I made the reservation, to ensure we could all stay late the next day. Lady who answered told me we could check out at noon. Next day, mentioned to the lady who was walking the halls that we had a late checkout and she began to question me. Told me they don't allow late check-outs on Sundays. I asked her if she was questioning my honesty, and she stated that she knew no one told me a late check out was possible and that I needed to get out. She raised her voice and it ended up being a yelling match in the hallway as she threatened to have me and my son arrested. She came later admitting that she was the assistant manager and wanted me to show her where I had called, claiming I had not called in advance. I, in fact, had called the hotel three times and as I began to show her the calls, she escalated again and threatened again to call the police on us. We left. It was the craziest experience I have ever had in a hotel. She was a horrible person and behaved completely inappropriately. In addition, this hotel is a 5 star at best. Torn curtains, not that clean, fridge broken. Run, don't walk away from a reservation here and owner, fire that crazy lady that is your assistant manager.

If negative stars was a thing, that’s what I would give. Unprofessional, rude staff. We were never told our room needed to be cleaned every 3 days when we checked in. We went to get our own towels and took out our own trash. They banged on the door and proceeded to argue with us about coming in to clean it, while my son was napping, after we had been there 2 WEEKS. Scared my toddler and made us uncomfortable, so we left. Mindblown this place actually had decent enough reviews to convince us to stay here.

Okay for a one night stay
A/C was set on 61 degrees which was way too cold to face when entering and the carpet in front of the A/C was wet from right under the A/C (which was under the window) to about four feet in front of it. Found hair in the tub. Sink stopper wouldn’t stay up. We were exhausted from being in the road for 13 hours and was trying to outrun a storm so this was the first place we could find. Great price but bed was hard, hallway was hot, and although the person checking us in was nice, she was wearing a VERY TATTERED and torn sweatshirt jacket! Not a great first impression of the business she works for!!
