The hotel itself is stunning – the aesthetics are a perfect 10/10. Every corner is picture-perfect, and the restaurant options are diverse and delicious. I especially enjoyed the coffee shop! The location is ideal, with plenty of nearby shopping, dining, and things to do.
However, our stay had some significant downsides that impacted our experience.
First Issue – The Shuttle Service:
The free shuttle service to the beach club, while convenient in theory, was disappointing. The ride was extremely bumpy and uncomfortable, taking about 30 minutes each way. Once at the beach club, you’re essentially stuck until the next shuttle time unless you pay for a private taxi, which costs $35-40. This limitation wasn’t clearly communicated, as it’s advertised differently.
Second Issue – Late Night Room Cleaning:
On our first night, the room next to ours was cleaned at around 11:45 pm, with staff sweeping, talking, and using walkie-talkies, which was quite disruptive. I called the front desk, and they didn’t have much to offer other than saying they’d speak to the staff. This happened again at 5 am on our last day, which was very frustrating.
Pros:
• Great food and restaurant ambiance
• Beautiful hotel aesthetics, perfect for photos
Cons:
• Inconsistent room service hours (different from the app’s information)
• Restaurants occasionally open late, sometimes by 30 minutes to an hour
• Uncomfortable and inconvenient shuttle service with limited hours and unclear communication
