It was a nice property. But, this Motel 6 doesn’t allow the their guest to have coffee in the morning. They have two coffee pots set up that appear as if they serve coffee but they don’t . They only serve it on football game days . It was the only Motel 6 I’ve ever been to that doesn’t serve guest coffee in the morning. I travel for work and stay in this brand hotel all over the country and it just amazes me that they can be franchised and not have Motel 6 standards. The front desk agent was nice and kind .

My husband and i stayed here overnight while attending a Bama game. The staff were excelent! We arrived early at 12:30 and they allowed us early check in without an extra fee. Rooms were very clean and upgraded. Bed was a little too firm, but thats just too my liking. It was a grwat stay. Staff were amazing and the property was clean and well taken care of!

Dont stay here.
The room did not get made up on our second day. Not only that housekeeping HAD bewn in the room and took all of the towels and LEFT NONE! I went to the office and they gave me hand towels to use for the shower. Totally unacceptable. We deserve a refund.

It’s very noisy and the curtains let in a lot of light. I was a bit disappointed that I was charged more than the rate I booked for. Additionally, their checkout process is a bit bizarre. I had to go with the individual working the front desk to inspect the room before finalizing checkout. I’ve never had that happen before!

Could have been better
When we arrived, there was a homeless man outside our door. Management ran him off, but still left us feeling a little uncomfortable. Room looked clean, but looked of stains on the bedding. Beds were not comfortable at all.

What a surprise! Remodeled motel 6 was so nice. The only thing needing an update was the air conditioner which stuck out like a sore thumb with how nice the room was. It also sounded like a race car lol. But super great staff

It was easy to check in and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We asked for extra pillows and within the hour they dropped them off. It was raining and the person checking us in didn't make me go back out to the car for the tag number and instead got it when I circled around to our room. The room was clean but we did see two roaches during the night. It had a comfy bed and a smart t.v. There was plenty of restaurants nearby however I wouldn't recommend the Shrimp Basket. Their food was bland and pricey. We did smell marijuana being smoked in a room nearby coming through our vents. The neighborhood was safe and convenient. I stayed one night with my son on a long trip back from Texas to NC.

To be fair, this is not the type of hotel I am used to staying at. There was sandwich from a previous quest still in the microwave... it was stinky... just closed the door and left it for housekeeping to deal with. The beds move and are noisy when getting in and out of. Not the squeaky kind of noise, but loud booming noise because of the base of the bed. The linens were also stained and looked dirty. I would not stay here again. The woman at the front desk was friendly and took care of us right away. Just not a fan of the room.
