A couple of days at Tweed Heads/Coolangatta
We stayed in the 2 bedroom Penthouse Suite and it was very nice and big but when we arrived the airconditioner hadn't been turned on and the room was very hot and stuffy. There were ants on the kitchen benches and in the jug....I know an Australian Problem. We had trouble with the airconditioner in the kitchen not getting cold enough and the one in the bedrooms almost froze us to death. The Main Bedroom wasn't as bad as the 2nd Bedroom. You could feel the cold air coming out from under the door when you walked past that it was very cold but the main bedroom was barely cool. We asked for someone to have a look but being the weekend the manager came and had a look but didn't do anything because it was working not too bad by then but had it's moments. I slept with 2 blankets and couldn't get warm so didn't enjoy my stay as I was exhausted from not sleeping well. The fridge wasn't even that cold. We had beautiful views of the beach from the balcony and a short walk to plenty of restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Check in and out was done quickly without a problem. On site parking was easy to access.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the only down side was that the balcony sliding door wouldn't open and therefore was unusable. This was reported to reception but unfortunately was not fixed during our short stay.

Room 145 had luke warm water ONLY in the kitchen sink and the bathroom basin, disappointing and somewhat inconvenient. The door to the balcony was difficult to open as the lock clip spring was either broken or had lost tension. Comments intended so these issues are addressed and future guests do not face said issues. Nothing major. Thanks

The location is very good especially for access to the Twin Towns Services Club. On arrival there were wet towels in the bathroom from the previous guests and housekeeping was not done until late afternoon most days.

I was absolutely delighted to stay here, even for a short time. Room was never too hot or too cold, bed was comfy and bathroom along with the shower was great. Minor leakage from the shower head but aside from that everything was great. The kind lady who greeted me when checking in was also very friendly and helpful. Another minor inconvenience would be transport, getting to Surfers Paradise if taking public transport results in a 1hr- 1hr 20min ride, or a measly $55-$70 uber ride for 45min - 1hr. (I estimate because the rates change due to Tweed Heads being a high demand area). Overall, for first timers who don’t want to go to the heart of surfers paradise, this resort is good for a little quiet time.

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Our room needed our update with the beds and lounge not having much support. Having the inside pool was great when the winds were up outside.

The building and facilities and staff were great, The unit size and outlook was fantastic however was in need of repair in some areas. Many of the kitchen items were missing which was frustrating for a three bedroom apartment. It seemed like they had thought of everything when first setting up the apartment however as things have broken or gone missing they have failed to replace them and this would be my feedback to improve for next time. Overall it was a great stay.

Convenient location for walking to beaches, shops and restaurants. Studio apartments are small, but have everything you need. Some extra communication regarding fire alarms including notifications of all clear would be useful.
