This is not a 9.0 property. Maybe a 7. Had a pool and hot tub, but didn’t use them. Staff was very friendly.

Couldn't ask for a better experience
Our room with a view of the lake (and mini golf course) was comfortable and clean, and the gentleman working the front desk went above and beyond. He was super friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered pizza and drinks at the bar in the pool area and he brought them all out to our table or the hot tub while we relaxed. I absolutely recommend Village Inn on the Lake if you're looking for a great place to stay.

This property wasn't quite what we expected. A few things took away from the overall experience. We were on the second floor and you couldn't get to the stairs without walking quite close to the pool. Floor was usually wet and possibility of getting splashed on. Room was advertised as having a view of the lake, it did not. Large window in our room facing the pool area only had vertical blinds. They were broken and did not close completely. had to throw bed spread over window for privacy.

I loved my stay at the Village Inn. I had a great time watching the Full Moon rise over Lake Michigan from my fabulous lakeview room! The staff - especially Karen, Morgan, and Brian - were all very friendly, helpful and professional. I really enjoyed being close to the Lake, nice beaches, and the Mariners Trail! Nice location
Most of the room was cleaned well. An exception -a glider chair in the room was pretty dirty, so we didn’t use it. The mini golf was fun! We brought bikes and loved the bike trail across the street, along Lake Michigan.
