The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The desk is closed after 9pm, there is a check-in kiosk and a phone to call if you need help after-hours. The room was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay - cosy bedclothes, a small desk and chair, soap/shampoo/towel. There is a lounge area with vending machines that sell almost anything you need for your stay, and music piped throughout the common areas that make the place seem happening.
I was staying for an event taking place nearby, so the location worked well for me, but it was a bit far from town. It is accessible by public transport, and is a 25-minute walk from the main station/town/sights (10-minute drive). It is quite close to the large shopping mall, in a sort of shopping area where there is a large home improvement store, a natural foods grocery store, and other large stores nearby (the type you are more likely to go to if you live in a place). Across the road and next door are casinos and table-dancing bars/strip clubs. I did not feel afraid walking around after dark, but others might find it uncomfortable to travel alone and stay here if you plan to walk back to the hotel at night.
