Reception made me wait for 2 hours like a sitting duck in the lobby, even though my room was confirmed ready. They wouldn’t allow me access to the room until exactly 4pm. Someone finally approached me in the lobby at 3:15 and said if I wanted to pay an additional $50 I could check in earlier than 4pm. Seeing as I already sat there for the previous hour and a half, I just saved the $50 and waited the additional 45 mins. Ridiculous customer service. Its hard knowing your room is ready but not being able to access it and having to sit in an empty lobby while the staff sit behind the desk and giggle. There’s a real disconnect between people these days and it’s hard to be a part of.

The hotel is right next to the metrotown shopping center and shares the same parking garage. The hotel only has 6 floors and has a great hot breakfast with baked beans and congee. It feels like a boutique hotel. We were able to check our luggage at the bellhop before checking in. We also were able to extend our checkout by 3 hours. My only complaint is its easy to miss the parking entrance since theres no signage for hotel parking from the street.
