Mon ami et moi avions réservé pour 2 nuits. La situation géographique est agréable, un peu éloignée du centre de Venise. L'île du Lido est une station balnéaire prisée par les Vénitiens eux-mêmes. Elle est facile d'accès. L'hôtel est un bâtiment élégant. Le personnel est aimable. Mais quelle déception quand nous avons vu notre chambre ! Elle était tellement petite que nous ne pouvions à peine nous déplacer autour du lit ; donc nulle part où mettre nos valises sans bloquer la porte ! La télé était plus petite que l'écran de mon ordinateur portable. Le lit était vétuste. La salle de bain était propre mais le lavabo fuyait. Malgré mon signalement, le problème a persisté. Le petit déjeuner n'était pas bon du tout. La salle de restauration ressemble d'ailleurs à une cantine avec des chaises en plastique. Il faut cependant noter que le personnel a eu la gentillesse de garder nos valises à l’accueil après notre check-out pour nous permettre de faire une dernière sortie en ville avant notre avion. En conclusion : cet hôtel en soi pourrait être convenable, mais pour un 3 étoiles et au vu des prix qu'ils pratiquent, je ne le recommanderais à personne.

Hyvä hotelli kätevällä paikalla

Hotelli sijaitsee mukavalla, rauhallisella paikalla, 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä vesibussipysäkistä. Matkan varrella on useita baareja ja ravintoloita. Vapaa ranta on vesibussilta lähtevän tien toisessa päässä noin kilometrin päässä. Hotellilta matkaa on vähän vähemmän. Huoneet ovat ilmeisesti kaikki vähän erilaisia, mutta perheellemme (isä, äiti, 10v ja 6v) pohjakerroksen huone oli oikein sopiva. Lapset valtasivat ison parven, joten aikuisille jäi ilta-aikaa "alakerrassa". Ilmastointi on hyvä, samoin 10 euron wifi. Minibaariin mahtuu vähän omiakin eineksiä. Henkilökunta oli poikkeuksellisen ystävällistä. Aamiainen oli vaatimaton, tosin keitetyt kananmunat kuuluivat siihen joka aamu, mikä oli hyvä lisä. Lidossa on hyvä asua, Ja vanha Venetsia on lyhyen vesimatkan päässä (15-20 min). Vesibussit kulkevat tiheään. Jos matkustaisimme Venetsiaan/Lidoon uudestaan, valitsisimme saman hotellin.
